Good To Know

Trip FAQs

Are leopard sightings guaranteed?

No wildlife sighting can be guaranteed, but Yala consistently ranks among the best places on earth for leopard encounters, and four safari sessions maximize your odds.

How many people share a jeep?

We cap each jeep at 6 travelers so everyone gets a window seat and an unobstructed view.

Is Yala open year-round?

Block 1 closes for about a month each year (usually September) for maintenance — we'll route you to an open area or Udawalawe if your dates overlap.
